Purpose...
  
To encourage a graduate interested in entering program at a four-year College or University.

Criteria...
  Candidates must be graduating seniors of a Northshore School District secondary school. Candidates should display interest in the career fields of social work, education, social sciences or physical sciences. A GPA of 3.0 is required and financial need will be primary consideration. A record of service to school and community will also be considerations 

Selection...
  
A committee appointed by the Northshore Rotary Club will interview candidates and make the selection.

Value...    The scholarship will no longer be awarded at the direction of the account sponsor.

 

The account:

    Funding for this scholarship endowment program was made possible by long-time Kenmore resident and civic activist Jan Allott. Ms. Allott has an extensive background in social work and participates in related programs such as Hopelink.
