Purpose...To provide funds each year for the Northshore Foundation Memorial Scholarship awarded annually to a graduate of a Northshore School District secondary schools who meets the criteria for the scholarship given in memory of Anna Cowles, Kathleen Sanford, Darren Lindal, Chris Lin and Dr. Walter E. Sundstrom.

   Presented in memory of Bothell resident Anna Ferguson Cowles, a longtime teacher and administrator in the field of special education. The account was originally established to provide a scholarship for a graduate with an interest in becoming a special education teacher.
