arts, performing arts or visual arts.
Criteria...
Graduating resident of the Northshore School District.
Selection...
In consultation with heads of the high school art
departments. The scholarship will be offered in alternate years.

The memorial...
Steven Lee Haynes was born Aug. 15, 1949 and raised in Bothell. He
graduated from Bothell High School in 1967 and from Washington State
University in 1972. He was an accomplished singer and pianist and an
excellent artist. His career in design took him to Hawaii, Denver, San
Diego and Seattle prior to his death in 1988. He is survived by his
parents, Evelyn and Lowell Haynes; a sister, Susan; and brothers Allen
and Robert.
