Purpose & Criteria.......
The scholarship will be awarded to a
graduating senior at Bothell High School who struggled with academics
early in high school, but who has made academic improvement in the junior
and/or senior year and now has a sincere desire to continue education
beyond high school. The scholarship may be used at either a two-year or a four-year
college. Application and Selection...
Students
do not apply for this scholarship. The staff at Bothell High will
nominate and select the recipient.

The
memorial...
Tom Lee grew up in Chelan and worked on
Grand Coulee Dam in his younger years. He struggled in 9th and 10th
grads but with the help of teacher and coaches was encouraged to finish
school and eventually became a lawyer. He started a law firm in the
1940s in Seattle which became very successful.
He moved to Bothell in the late 1960s and this is where he raised his
family. He was involved with his community and took pride in the
positive growth in the area as well as the success of is children and
grandchildren.
Atha Lee died in June, 2006.
