The memorial...
Dr. Frank Love served as Northshore superintendent from
1981 through 1988 and directed district instructional services and
curriculum upon joining the district earlier. He died of cancer in 1988
and family and friends established the memorial scholarship in his name
with the understanding that the annual selection be maintained under the
auspices of the Northshore School Board.
"Frank Love believed strongly in the development of
the whole persons -- the spirit, the intellect and the body. It was his
belief that a person's education was incomplete if one had not learned
the importance of giving back to help others. Even though Frank was a
scholar, he wanted to be remembered as a caring individual who gave of
himself to help others."
