Purpose & Criteria.......

This award aims to recognize an outstanding Inglemoor High School graduating senior, who plans to attend college, and most importantly, has served as an Inspiration to others.  Our hope is to keep J.R.s mission, of giving freely to others, alive at Inglemoor for years to come. The scholarship is limited to graduating seniors at Inglemoor High School.

Application and Selection...

We ask that students complete the Northshore School District Scholarship Application.  In addition to the application, we ask that students answer the following question on a separate piece of paper and submit it with their application How have you served as an Inspiration to others?  The scholarship is awarded on the basis of Character, Service, Integrity, and above all, Inspirational qualities.

2015 Value....   No scholarship will be offered in 2015

The memorial...

Family members and friends established this endowment in memory of J.R. Suarez, who at the age of 17, drowned in a swimming accident in Lake Sammamish .  In so many ways, J.R. Inspired us through his commitment to Family, Friendship, Faith, Love, and Joy.  This award was created to keep his generous heart and warm smile alive, both at Inglemoor High School , and throughout all of our lives
