Including the endowment accounts for each of the three service club Foundation sponsors, the Foundation maintain individual records for each of 50 endowment funds.

Once a year at June 30, the Foundation determines the percentage of its assets that will be distributed for scholarships the following spring. The distribution to each endowment account for scholarship purposes is based on the percentage each account represents in the total amount of funds contributed to the Foundation since it inception.

To contribute to the Foundation's efforts, a donor has the following of two options to consider.

(1.)  Make a donation to one or more specific account.
  (See master list of accounts).
A check directed to the Northshore Scholarship Foundation should specify the amount to be credited to the account
or accounts designated by the donor.

(2.) Make a donation and direct that the money be designated for the General Contributions Fund. At the end of the Fiscal Year on June 30, the money contributed in this manner may then be distributed equally to three designated endowment accounts specified by each of the three sponsoring service clubs...or allocated to make up scholarship shortfalls for endowments generating less than the scholarship minimum of $1,500.
