Anderson
Vocational Scholarship at Cascadia Community College
The
scholarship is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Northshore, given in
memory of Bothell residents Les and Vista Anderson, and is available to a
graduating high school senior who intends to enroll at Cascadia Community
College. The $1,500 scholarship may be renewed for an additional year and
is designed for a student who (1) plans to be enrolled in 10 or more
credits at CCC, (2) maintains a residence or has attended a Northshore
School District secondary school, and (3) is pursuing a 2-year degree
preparing for a vocational or occupational career path. Preference is
given to students who demonstrate financial need.

scholarship is offered by the Woodinville Rotary Club and is available to
a graduating high school senior who intends to enroll at Cascadia
Community College. The $2,000 scholarship is designed for a student who
(1) plans to be enrolled in 10 or more credits at CCC, (2) maintains a
residence or has attended high school in the Northshore School District
(Woodinville, Bothell, or Inglemoor High Schools or the Secondary Academy
for Success), and (3) has a 2.5 or better cumulative GPA in high school or
college. Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need,
are pursuing a 2-year degree, plan to transfer to a 4-year college or
university, and/or have volunteered or been involved in other ways in the
community. Applications are due April 7, 2008 at Cascadia Community

Rotary Global Awareness Scholarship The scholarship is provided by
the Northshore Rotary Club and is available to a graduating high school
senior who intends to enroll at Cascadia Community College. The $2,000
scholarship is designed for a student who (1) plans to be enrolled in 10
or more credits at CCC, (2) maintains a residence or has attended high
school in the Northshore School District (Woodinville, Bothell, or
Inglemoor High Schools or the Secondary Academy for Success), (3) is
pursuing a 2-year degree or transferring to a 4-year college, and (4)
demonstrates a commitment to global issues through their coursework,
volunteer or other extracurricular activities, and/or other international
experience. Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial
need. Applications are due April 7, 2008 at Cascadia Community
