A Scholarship offered specifically 
for graduates planning a career in teaching at the elementary school level is available at the
University of Washington-Bothell and is sponsored by the:

Woodinville Rotary Club 

is available to a student who has already received a bachelor's degree or in-service training and seeks a Teaching Certificate. The process is handled in the Student Counseling Center at UW Bothell.


 

Kathleen Sanford Memorial

is available to a graduating senior at Bothell High School who intends to become a teacher. 

Woodinville Rotary Teaching 

for graduating high school seniors and is available to all qualified applicants who either attend Northshore secondary schools or who reside in the Northshore School District but attend secondary schools outside the district. The applicants indicate an interest to teach at the elementary or secondary public school level.

Pat Matthews Continuing Education

is to assist either a Northshore School District paraeducator
attain permanent classroom credentials through additional training or certification programs or to assist a district teacher pursuing a masters degree in his or her specific field of education.

Karen Ann Olson Forys Scholarship

One scholarship will be awarded each year to a teacher or administrator employed by Northshore School District and seeks professional advancement. A second scholarship shall be awarded a graduating high school senior who plans to pursue a career in education.
